Engage California
Engage California (SoCal) in partnership with King’s Castle USA, is aimed at equipping churches to reach children and youth with the love and message of Jesus Christ. Engage Students serving in California will have the opportunity to serve alongside lay leaders in local churches and missions teams in Greater Los Angeles (with 230+ language groups) to disciple children and youth to share their faith.
Service Opportunities
Engage Students Spend 15-25 Hours Weekly in Service through:
Engage Students will serve in local churches at least one day a week where they will receive hands-on experience in cross-cultural ministry (based on their personal goals, abilities, and leadership skills).
During the school semesters, Engage Students will receive one-on-one mentoring, biblical training, on-line accredited classes, and hands-on experience with outreaches in the afternoons at the schools, public parks and community events on Monday-Thursdays and on Saturdays; Fridays will be reserved for free-time or group activities at least once a month at the beach, in the mountains or other sight-seeing trips.
During the Summer semester, Engage Students will travel with our mission team to train church leaders all across the United States to implement King’s Castle Discipleship & Outreach Team. The intense Discipleship Training will instruct children’s leaders to disciple their students to grow in their relationship with God and to share the Gospel; and the Summer Outreach Training will equip youth and adults to reach their community through a variety of creative arts, drama, music, choreographed dance, human videos, puppetry, clowning, Christian illusion and illustration sermons.

Fall Semester (September – December) $2,650
Spring Semester (January – April) $2,650
Summer Internship (May – August)

Engage Fees Cover the Following: housing, utilities, meals, internet access, local transportation and ministry travel excursions.
Engage Fees Do Not Cover: airfare to and from the site, personal pocket money, personal travel before, during, or after the Engage program, and personal toiletries and entertainment. Students will individually purchase plane tickets, however, the Site Directors will provide instruction and guidance in purchasing tickets.
Please Note: Engage fees do not cover student’s university fees and tuition.
